Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Why do people blame God for things the devil does?

Why are you so sure it's not God?

Because we read the Bible where we learn what kind of things God does and doens't do.

The *thief* comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus comes that we may have *life*. That's a big difference in goals if you ask me.

what more can I say...

When you suffer from things like sickness, envy, immorality, lonelyness, hopelessness, injustice, etcetera,...

God is the absolute solution instead of the causer.

Ok. I'm not religious, so please forgive me for not knowing the answer to the next question:

At what level do I find the Devil? At the same level as God or at the same level as human... or somewhere in between. If he is in between the level of human and the level of God, then is the Devil created by God as well?

Bro.
God created all things, so this would mean the devil included and the devil is NOT in anyway on the same level as God.

Hope that answers (briefly) your question.

So, the next question would be... why did God create the Devil?

(Btw: Not in any way trying to make you look stupid or something like that. I respect the fact that you are religious, as I hope you respect my choice to be not)

He didn't make "the devil". He made angels, who were moral free agents, and Lucifer chose to rebel against Him.

I think this 'conversation' can last forever, so for now I want to thank you for answering my questions.:-)
